This is a series of sessions; each class builds on the last. Cathy Stephens teaches this advanced series for experienced vintage dancers, and focuses on period styling and more challenging steps and variations. No partner or preregistration required.

Fall 2007
Advanced dances from the Biedermeier Era: Includes work on the Allemande, stepping from the Congress of Vienna period, and early mazurka from the mid century. We'll begin working on the Allemande at the September class.

Winter/Spring 2008
In this series, the second class builds on the first. The February pre-ball class will be on related material.

Ragtime Waltz: We'll focus on elegant and romantic waltz steps and sequences from the ragtime era.
